There is only so much one person can do in a situation that keeps on repeating itself now and again. Choices that needed to have been made a long time ago, up front, in order to survive the blustering ways of life that clouds clear judgment. There is no second-guessing permissible. Your life is your own. There will not be anyone knocking at your door when nobody knows you are behind it waiting, waiting for that knock. Waiting as you have done so many times before and probably will do until the day you die.

When you are waiting for life and life seems not to respond, could it be because a great deal was expected and not enough was given in return. Is it the people you encounter or just the fact you are one of them, a human being, thrown up against the wall by those whom you passionately love. Life is not equal in its fairness. Life does not respond to you when you are waiting to be discovered by those who embrace it. It takes strong and unchanging enthusiasm to make the difference. To have life answer in the manner in which you believe you are entitled too.

Difficult times have helped me to understand better than before, how infinitely rich and beautiful life is in every way, and that so many things that one goes worrying about are of no importance whatsoever... ~ Isak Dinesen
