There is only so much one person can do in a situation that keeps on repeating itself now and again. Choices that needed to have been made a long time ago, up front, in order to survive the blustering ways of life that clouds clear judgment. There is no second-guessing permissible. Your life is your own. There will not be anyone knocking at your door when nobody knows you are behind it waiting, waiting for that knock. Waiting as you have done so many times before and probably will do until the day you die.

When you are waiting for life and life seems not to respond, could it be because a great deal was expected and not enough was given in return.
